  • The Rangers transferred Beeks (forearm) to the 60-day injured list Tuesday.

It was announced July 4 that Beeks would miss the rest of the 2026 season due to requiring season-ending surgery to repair a flexor tendon in his left forearm.

  • Beeks (back) will miss the rest of the 2026 season after undergoing arm surgery, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Beeks landed on the 15-day injured list June 11 due to back spasms. Per McFarland, Beeks had a flexor strain flare up during his rehab program that was severe enough for him to undergo season-ending surgery, and it's unclear whether he'll be fully healthy for the start of spring training. Beeks appeared in 29 regular-season games for the Rangers in 2026 and will end his campaign with a 3.81 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, six holds and a 21:8 K:BB across 26 innings.

  • The Rangers placed Beeks on the 15-day injured list Thursday with low-back spasms.

Beeks last pitched Tuesday in Kansas City, serving up a solo home run among three hits while recording just two outs. He'll be eligible for activation later this month, but it's unclear at this point how long he might be out.

  • Beeks (2-1) earned the win in relief Saturday against the Cubs after tossing 1.1 scoreless innings. He struck out one with no hits or walks allowed.

Jack Leiter tossed 4.2 scoreless innings but finished just one out short of securing the win, and Beeks was credited with it after finishing the fifth frame and pitching the sixth. Beeks, who improved to 2-1 with a 2.65 ERA, was sharp, needing just 13 pitches (nine strikes) to record four outs. This was a bounce-back effort for Beeks, as he allowed two runs in one-third of an inning against the Yankees in his previous outing last Thursday.

  • The Rangers signed Beeks to a major-league contract Thursday, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

The Rangers will need to create a spot on the 40-man roster to make room for Beeks. The 32-year-old left-hander appeared in 61 games for the Diamondbacks last season, posting a 3.77 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 47:20 K:BB across 57.1 innings. Beeks should work in tandem with Tyler Alexander as the Rangers' left-handed specialists.

  • Beeks (5-3) took the loss against the Dodgers on Thursday, allowing a solo home run while striking out one batter in one inning.

Beeks was tabbed as Arizona's opener for Thursday's series finale. He got through the first inning cleanly, but he was brought out for the second and subsequently gave up a solo home run to Freddie Freeman. Beeks was pulled after the homer, but he was stuck with the loss after the Diamondbacks failed to tack on any runs. Beeks sits at a 3.77 ERA and 1.08 WHIP across 57.1 innings this season.
