  • Peralta took the loss in Game 3 of the World Series against the Brewers on Monday, giving up five runs on seven hits and three walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out four.

The right-hander dealt with traffic all night, allowing 10 batters to reach before departing with two outs and the bases loaded in the fifth inning. All three baserunners came around to score as Milwaukee erupted for an eight-run frame, pushing the lead to 10-0. Peralta had surrendered just two runs across 16.2 postseason innings coming into Monday, though his 12:7 K:BB may have been an indicator of things to come when going up against a Brewers lineup that has chewed up elite starting pitchers all October. Now facing a 3-0 series deficit, the Rays will need to string some wins together for Peralta to have a chance of taking the mound again in 2026.

  • Peralta was named the ALCS MVP after picking up the win in Game 6 against the Guardians on Monday. He allowed one run on five hits and three walks while striking out three over 5.1 innings.

Peralta delivered a pair of strong starts in the ALCS, resulting in two victories. Before taking the mound to clinch the series Monday, the 30-year-old right-hander earned the win in Game 2, fanning six across six scoreless innings of work in a 3-1 victory. Peralta also recorded two outs without allowing a run out of the bullpen in Game 4. He'll now set his sights on facing his former club in the World Series and could line up for a start in Game 2 on Saturday.

  • Peralta will start Game 6 of the ALCS against the Guardians on Monday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Peralta will take the mound for his second start of the series after he pitched six scoreless innings while striking out six batters on his way to a win in Game 2. He also pitched two-thirds of an inning, allowing a walk without surrendering a run in an appearance out of the bullpen in the team's 7-3 victory in Game 4. The right-hander has posted a 0.79 ERA over three postseason appearances this year, and he'll have a chance to help punch the Rays' ticket to the World Series with a win Monday.

  • Peralta earned the win in Game 2 of the ALCS against the Guardians on Tuesday, allowing four hits and two walks with six strikeouts over six scoreless innings.

It's the longest postseason start of the right-hander's career and marks his eighth straight outing, dating back to Aug. 26, with one or no runs allowed. Through two playoff starts this year, Peralta has given up one run on seven hits with a 9:3 K:BB across 10.2 innings. He lines up to start Game 6 in Tampa Bay, if necessary.

  • Peralta didn't factor in the decision in Game 2 of the ALDS against the Yankees on Monday, giving up a run on three hits with three strikeouts and one walk across 4.2 innings.

Peralta served up a solo homer to Ben Rice during the fourth inning but was otherwise able to keep New York off the board. It continued a strong run of form for the right-hander, who has now surrendered one or no runs in each of his past seven starts dating back to late August. Peralta has a 0.93 ERA, 0.80 WHIP and 30:10 K:BB over 38.2 innings during that span.

  • Peralta is slated to face the Yankees in Game 2 of the American League Division Series on Monday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Peralta will look to guide the Rays to a 2-0 lead in the series after Tampa Bay took Game 1 on Saturday by a score of 1-0. The right-hander struggled throughout most of the regular season, but he had a resurgence in September, when he earned American League Pitcher of the Month honors by posting a 0.96 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 23:9 K:BB over 28 innings while going 4-0 over five starts. In his lone start versus the Yankees during the regular season, Peralta gave up three runs on two hits while walking six batters and striking out four back on May 17 while with the Mets.
