  • The Guardians optioned Yoho to Triple-A Columbus on Sunday, Roundtable.io reports.

Yoho gave up two runs on three hits and a wild pitch while recording just one out Saturday, bringing his ERA up to 4.93 in 34 big-league appearances in 2026, and he will now head back to the minors to conclude the regular season. Austin Peterson replaces Yoho on the active roster and in the Cleveland bullpen.

  • Yoho (2-1) was tagged with the loss to the White Sox on Sunday, when he allowed four runs on two hits and four walks over a third of an inning.

Yoho was one of several relievers to pitch Sunday, when starter Joey Cantillo was removed after one inning following a significant rain delay. Things did not go well for the reliever, who entered in the third inning with two outs and no runners on base. The right-hander allowed a walk, a double and another walk before Colson Montgomery took him deep for a three-run home run. Yoho was a trade-deadline acquisition and in position for high-leverage work in the Guardians' bullpen, but he's allowed seven runs on five hits (two HRs) and four walks in consecutive outings (1.1 innings).

  • The Brewers traded Yoho and Blake Perkins to the Guardians on Saturday in exchange for Bo Naylor and Codi Heuer, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.

Yoho has turned in a 3.15 ERA and 0.85 WHIP in 20 innings with the Brewers this season. He figures to instantly provide reinforcements to Cleveland's bullpen and could eventually land a high-leverage role if he continues to find success with the Guardians.

  • Milwaukee recalled Yoho from Triple-A Nashville on Saturday.

Yoho had been sent down to Nashville on June 25, but he'll now be back with the Brewers to take the bullpen spot of Joel Kuhnel, who was placed on the 15-day IL due to a shoulder injury. Yoho compiled a 6.00 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 8:3 K:BB across six frames in his previous five appearances for Milwaukee this season, and he'll likely take on a low-leverage relief role while he's up in the majors.

  • The Brewers optioned Yoho to Triple-A Nashville on Thursday, Jack Stern of BrewerFanatic.com reports.

Yoho was lit up for three earned runs during his inning of work Wednesday against the Reds, bringing his ERA up to 6.00 through six innings with the Brewers. He's had much more success in the minors (0.90 ERA through 20 IP), so the team will send him back down to Nashville to get back on track. Jared Koenig (elbow) is expected to return from the injured list ahead of Friday's game against the Cubs to fill the vacant bullpen spot.

  • The Brewers recalled Yoho from Triple-A Nashville on Friday.

Yoho will return to the Brewers' bullpen to fill the void left by Coleman Crow, who landed on the injured list Friday with a forearm strain. Yoho has allowed one run and struck out five batters in three innings with the big club this season and will likely work in middle relief as long as he's in the majors.
