The rookie outfielder went 0-for-4 in his playoff debut versus the White Sox in Game 1 of the ALDS, but he's now collected at least one hit in five straight games. DeLauter broke the seal for Cleveland on Monday with his sixth-inning solo shot, and he came around to score after doubling in the eighth and working a walk in the ninth. Through his first six postseason games, the 25-year-old is batting .333 with three walks, two extra-base hits, three RBI and five runs.

  • DeLauter went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 12-6 win over the Athletics.

DeLauter got the Guardians on the board with a blast in the first inning before coming around to score after a single in the third. It continued a steady second half for the 24-year-old, who owns an .868 OPS with 18 extra-base hits, 19 RBI, 26 runs scored and eight stolen bases over 47 games since the All-Star break. Overall, he's slashing .290/.363/.458 with 15 homers, 65 RBI, 59 runs scored and 11 steals across 531 plate appearances in what has been a successful rookie campaign.

  • DeLauter (wrist) is starting in right field and batting third Friday against the Athletics, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

DeLauter's sprained right wrist flared back up this week, and he was held out of action Tuesday and Wednesday against the White Sox ahead of Thursday's off day. The 24-year-old is back in action against lefty Mason Barnett for Friday's series opener. DeLauter has just three home runs since the All-Star break but does have 12 doubles, two triples and 23 walks in that span, boosting his OPS to .815 for the season.

  • DeLauter (wrist) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's contest against the White Sox.

DeLauter experienced a setback with his right wrist injury during Monday's game, and he will now sit out a second straight contest. The Guardians are idle Thursday, but with the nature of the injury, it's not a given DeLauter is ready to play by Friday versus the Athletics.

  • DeLauter is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the White Sox after his right wrist sprain flared up during Monday's contest, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

The 24-year-old missed four games due to the wrist issue before returning to the lineup Wednesday in Baltimore, but he's apparently not fully past the injury. Manager Stephen Vogt said DeLauter should be considered day-to-day. Petey Halpin is picking up a start in the outfield Tuesday with DeLauter on the bench.

  • DeLauter is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the White Sox, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

The rookie outfielder started the previous five games after missing four contests due to a wrist sprain, and he's gone 3-for-19 with four walks, a homer and a stolen base since rejoining the lineup. It's likely just a rest day for DeLauter, whose 125 contests this year shatter his previous high for games played in a season.
