The Blue Jays recalled Dallas from Triple-A Buffalo on Monday.
Dallas has been pitching exclusively in relief lately, logging a 2.65 ERA and 21:8 K:BB over 17 innings over his last 12 appearances (11 with Buffalo, one with Toronto). He'll be available for multiple innings out of the bullpen Monday versus the Orioles, and there's a good chance he'll be needed since starter Trey Yesavage (knee) will make an abbreviated start in his return from the IL.

The Blue Jays optioned Dallas to Triple-A Buffalo on Thursday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.
This marks Dallas' fifth time getting optioned in 2026, which means if he is recalled again, the Blue Jays won't be able to option him to Triple-A without exposing him to waivers. The right-hander made one appearance after getting recalled Tuesday. He pitched 2.2 scoreless innings Wednesday against Kansas City, allowing no walks or hits. In a corresponding move, Toronto signed Michael Lorenzen.

Dallas (1-1) was tagged with the loss in relief Tuesday against the Astros, allowing six runs on seven hits and four walks across three innings. He struck out three.
Dallas was thrust into action after Trey Yesavage exited the game in the third inning due to a left knee injury, and he didn't have his best stuff. This was Dallas' first appearance at the MLB level since he was called up from Triple-A Buffalo on July 29, but the results weren't encouraging. The 26-year-old right-hander hasn't had much success in the majors this season, posting an 8.22 ERA across three appearances and 7.2 innings compared to his 3.16 ERA across 16 outings (12 starts) in Buffalo.
