Dana (illness) walked three and recorded three strikeouts over three scoreless innings against Triple-A Tacoma on Saturday.
Dana has been struggling to put together a solid outing after experiencing fatigue related to a January diagnoses of mononucleosis, and while he didn't work deep into Saturday's matchup, he looked much more like himself. He made no mention of feeling fatigued in an interview one day after his start with sideline reporter for the Bees, Sammy Miller, so it looks as though he'll continue to build back up after a slow start to the 2026 campaign.

Dana was pulled in the third inning his latest start with Triple-A Salt Lake on Thursday due to fatigue, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
Per the Angels, Dana is still dealing with fatigue stemming from his diagnosis of mononucleosis in January, and he finished Thursday's start having allowed one run on two hits and one walk while striking out two across 2.1 innings. Given his latest setback, Dana could be removed from a turn in Salt Lake's rotation to give himself extra time to recover. He has a 1-2 record across five starts in Triple-A with a 6.38 ERA and 1.16 WHIP over 18.1 innings.

The Angels transferred Dana (illness) from the rookie-level Arizona Complex League to Triple-A Salt Lake on Monday.
Dana was brought along slowly during camp after being diagnosed with mononucleosis in late January, but after regaining weight and stamina and building up at extended spring training, he's finally ready to join the rotation at Salt Lake. The 22-year-old righty has made eight starts in the majors over the past two seasons but will likely need to show health and effectiveness at Salt Lake for at least a handful of outings before potentially receiving a call-up to the Angels.

Dana (illness) was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake on Monday.
Dana's spring campaign with the big-league club never got off the ground after being diagnosed with mononucleosis. He failed to appear in a spring game and will now report to Salt Lake to prepare for the start of the 2026 season.

Dana has been slowed in Angels camp after being diagnosed with mononucleosis Jan. 31, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Dana noted Monday that the illness caused fatigue, but he kept his appetite and didn't lose weight. The right-hander has been throwing on flat ground the last few weeks and will throw his first bullpen session of the spring Tuesday. It's going to be difficult for Dana to sufficiently rebuild his stamina in time for Opening Day, which could effectively rule him out in the competition for a rotation spot.

Angels manager Kurt Suzuki said Wednesday that Dana has yet to throw a bullpen session during spring training while he recovers from an illness, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
Dana seems to have overcome the illness and has since reported back to camp, but after missing about a week of workouts, he's currently behind the Angels' other rotation candidates during spring training. Suzuki said that Dana is in great shape and shouldn't need much time to build back up, so the bout with the illness likely won't be anything that dramatically affects his chances of making the Opening Day roster. Dana made seven appearances (five starts) for the Halos in 2025 and logged a 6.40 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 33:18 K:BB in 32.1 innings.
