  • Woo (12-10) allowed five runs (four earned) on seven hits, three walks and a hit batsman while striking out eight over 5.1 innings to take the loss Thursday versus the Angels.

The story of Woo's season was extreme home/road splits, but he ended the campaign with 11 runs allowed (10 earned) over his last 17.1 innings at T-Mobile Park. Overall, it concludes as a mostly average campaign for Woo, who had a 4.01 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 175:39 K:BB across 173 innings over 30 starts. He still figures to be a major part of the Mariners' rotation moving forward.

  • Woo did not factor into the decision in Friday's 5-4 win over the Rockies, allowing three runs on 10 hits and one walk with four strikeouts over 5.1 innings.

Woo departed with a 3-2 lead after yielding a one-out single in the sixth inning, but the inherited runner came around to score in the frame. The 26-year-old battled despite yielding a season-high 10 hits, though he snapped a streak of three consecutive quality starts to open September. He'll carry a 3.92 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 167:36 K:BB across 167.2 innings this year into one final home matchup with the Angels next week.

  • Woo (12-9) allowed one unearned run on three hits and two walks while striking out five over six innings to earn the win over the Athletics on Saturday.

Woo posted his third straight quality start and win, with two of them coming on the road. He was able to limit the damage to a run on a fielder's choice in the third inning and has surrendered just one earned run over his past three starts. Woo's turned the corner late in the season and is now at a 3.88 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 163:35 K:BB through 162.1 innings over 28 starts this year. His next start is projected to be at Colorado, which will provide a test for his recent success.

  • Woo (11-9) allowed one hit and two walks while striking out nine over eight shutout innings to earn the win over the Athletics on Sunday.

Woo has made some improvements on the road since the start of August, and he was able to take that momentum back home this time. He threw 73 of 102 pitches for strikes in his best and longest start of the season. This was the fifth time this year (fourth at home) in which he's covered at least seven scoreless innings while allowing four or fewer baserunners. Woo has a 4.03 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 158:33 K:BB through 156.1 innings over 27 starts on the year. His next outing is expected to be a rematch versus the Athletics in Sacramento, which is a bit concerning given Woo's 5.63 ERA on the road this year.

  • Woo (10-9) earned the win against the Red Sox on Tuesday, allowing one run on five hits and one walk while striking out seven across six innings.

Mickey Gasper hit a solo homer in the first inning, but Woo settled in to keep the Red Sox off the board for the rest of his outing. It was the third time in eight starts that Woo struck out at least seven batters, and he did enough to come away with his 14th quality start of the season, which is tied for sixth-most in the American League. He'll take a 4.25 ERA and 1.09 WHIP over 148.1 innings into his next start, which is lined up for this weekend at home against the Athletics.

  • Woo (9-9) took the loss Wednesday against the Phillies, allowing six runs on five hits and a walk over four innings. He struck out five.

Woo was limited to 76 pitches Wednesday after missing his last start due to shoulder soreness, though he may have gotten an early hook regardless -- the Phillies tagged Woo for six runs over the first two frames, highlighted by a pair of home runs. In his previous three starts, Woo had given up just two runs across 18 innings while posting a 0.67 WHIP. His ERA now sits at 4.36 on the season with a 1.10 WHIP and 142:30 K:BB over 25 starts (142.1 innings). Woo will look to bounce back his next time out, which is tentatively lined up for next week in Boston.
