  • Raley is not on the Phillies' NL Wild Card Series roster against Atlanta, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Raley posted a 7.94 ERA and 11:5 K:BB over 11.1 innings after being acquired by the Phillies at the trade deadline. Philadelphia will carry Jose Alvarado and Tanner Banks as its left-handed relievers over Raley.

  • Raley struck out one in a perfect ninth inning Tuesday to record his first save of the season in a 6-4 win over the Marlins.

With Jhoan Duran unavailable after working the prior two days, interim manager Don Mattingly deployed Jose Alvarado in the seventh inning and Orion Kerkering in the eighth before turning to Raley in the ninth to face the bottom of the Miami order. Raley got tagged for two runs in his Philly debut after being acquired from the Mets at the trade deadline, but since then the veteran lefty has settled down, posting a 1.59 ERA, 0.53 WHIP and 6:1 K:BB over his last six appearances and 5.2 innings.

  • The Phillies acquired Raley from the Mets on Monday in exchange for outfielder John Spikerman and right-hander Luke Gabrysh, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.

Raley will provide another quality late-inning arm to the Phillies bullpen. The left-handed reliever has put up a 1.96 ERA and 40:15 K:BB over 41.1 innings for the Mets in 2026. Raley is set to reach free agency after the season.

  • Raley (5-5) picked up the win Thursday against the Marlins, allowing one hit over 1.2 scoreless innings. He struck out one.

The southpaw won his third game in July with another sharp relief effort, as Raley fired 10 of 14 pitches for strikes while serving as the bridge between starter Nolan McLean and closer Devin Williams. Through 10 appearances and 9.1 innings this month, Raley has a 0.96 ERA, 0.64 WHIP and 6:2 K:BB while also collecting three holds. With the 38-year-old on an expiring contract, he could be the next Met out of the door ahead of the trade deadline after A.J. Minter was sent to the Twins on Thursday.

  • Raley (2-2) took the loss in the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Cubs, allowing two runs on two hits and a walk in one inning of relief. He didn't strike out a batter.

The veteran lefty entered Wednesday's nightcap to begin the sixth inning with the score tied 3-3 and promptly served up a double and a triple to the first two batters he faced, with both coming around to score. Raley has been tagged for runs in three of his eight June appearances, stumbling to a 6.14 ERA, 1.64 WHIP and 6:3 K:BB in 7.1 innings on the month with zero saves or holds.

  • Raley gave up a run on a hit and two walks in two-thirds of an inning Monday but still recorded his seventh hold of the season in an extra-innings win over the Nationals.

Entering the game to begin the seventh inning with the Mets ahead 5-3, Raley gave up a leadoff double to James Wood and then walked the next two batters to load the bases, but the damage ended up being limited to a CJ Abrams sacrifice fly. Raley's seven holds leads the team, and he's delivered a strong 1.47 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 21:8 K:BB through 18.1 innings this season.
