The Brewers declined Senzatela's $14 million club option for 2027 on Monday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Senzatela posted a 1.36 ERA and 26:9 K:BB over 33 innings in the first two months of the 2026 regular season, but he stumbled to a 6.25 ERA and 34:17 across 40.1 frames in the final four months. The veteran righty was used as a full-time reliever for the first time in 2026, but Senzatela might seek another chance to start as he enters free agency.

Senzatela earned the save in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Phillies, allowing just one walk while striking out one over 1.2 innings.
Senzatela recorded the final five outs Thursday to log his fourth save this season and his first since joining the Brewers at the trade deadline. The right-hander has allowed just two runs over his last seven appearances (6.1 innings). Overall, Senzatela sports a 4.07 ERA with a 1.36 WHIP and 59:26 K:BB across 73 innings between Milwaukee and Colorado this year.

The Brewers acquired Senzatela from the Rockies on Monday in exchange for Mark Manfredi and Juan Martinez.
Senzatela found a groove as a reliever this season, posting a 3.61 ERA and 46:17 K:BB over 52.1 innings. The veteran right-hander has a 7.45 ERA since the beginning of June, but a 20:8 K:BB over 19.1 innings suggests he had some bad luck. Senzatela will likely help set up in Milwaukee and is set to reach free agency after the season.

Senzatela blew the save Friday against Minnesota, allowing one run on three hits and no walks while striking out one during the ninth inning.
The Rockies rallied for seven runs across the eighth and ninth innings to set up the save opportunity, but Senzatela was unable to maintain the one-run advantage. After a dominant start to the campaign that saw him give up just four earned runs over his first 32 innings, the veteran right-hander has posted a 5.56 ERA while blowing all four of his save chances in his past nine outings, though he's also picked up four wins during that span. Jimmy Herget, who secured a save Wednesday versus Boston, took the loss after giving up the game-winning run in the bottom of the 10th, so Senzatela should remain in the closer mix for now.

Senzatela continues to have an outstanding season out of the Rockies' bullpen, lowering his ERA to 2.23 with this scoreless outing. It was also a bounce-back performance from the veteran, who had given up runs in three of his previous four appearances. Senzatela has posted career-best marks in ERA and WHIP (1.07) out of the bullpen this season across 22 outings and 40.1 innings.

Senzatela (6-0) allowed a run on two hits and struck out one over one inning, earning the win after taking a blown save versus the Cubs on Wednesday.
All three of Senzatela's blown saves have come over his last four appearances, a span in which he's allowed five runs (four earned) in 5.1 innings. The right-hander's move to the bullpen has still largely been successful, but the cracks are starting to show with his recent outings. He's at a 2.11 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 32:11 K:BB through 38.1 innings over 20 appearances, all in relief. Senzatela has a .245 BABIP, suggesting there's a fair amount of luck fueling his surface stats, though his 7.5 K/9 and 2.6 BB/9 are both improvements on his marks from last year. He still appears to be the preferred option for saves in Colorado's closer committee.
